Assessments

Full Diagnostic Assessment and Report 16+

• A face-to-face assessment lasting approximately 2.5 hours. 
• Assessments can take place in your home, at our consulting rooms in Northampton, or within school.
• Standardised assessments are used to measure underlying ability and allow analysis of strengths and challenges.
• Assessment of cognitive ability, including memory, phonological processing and processing speed.
• Assessment of attainment in the areas of reading, spelling, and writing.
• Detailed diagnostic written report, including recommendations and any considerations for exam access arrangements sent via email and post within a two-week timeframe. 
• Reports can include recommendations and adjustments for the workplace.
• Reports will meet the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) criteria and will be valid for life as I hold an Assessment Practicing certificate (APC).
• The report can be used as evidence for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). 
• Discussion of the report can be arranged at no extra cost.
• Students and adults £450. 

Spotlight Assessment

• A face-to-face assessment lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
• Assessments can take place in your home, at our consulting rooms in Northampton, or within school.
• Standardised assessments are used to measure underlying ability and allow analysis of strengths and challenges.
• Reading and word spelling test will also be administered.
• A detailed short written report, including recommendations, will be provided within two weeks. 
• Discussion of the report can be arranged at no extra cost.
• Please note this assessment will not diagnose dyslexia.
• Cost: £350.

Cognitive and Learning Assessment

• A face-to-face assessment lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
• Assessments can take place in your home, at our consulting rooms in Northampton, or within school.
• Standardised assessments are used to measure underlying ability and allow analysis of strengths and challenges.
• A concise written report will be provided evaluating potential, progress and recommendations aimed at enhancing educational performance.
• Please note this assessment will not diagnose dyslexia.
• Discussion of the report can be arranged at no extra cost.
• Cost: £350.

Access Arrangement Assessment

• A face-to-face assessment is needed to consider additional support during examinations.
• Assessments can take place in your home, at our consulting rooms in Northampton, or within school.
• This assessment must be commissioned by the centre administering the examination.
• Cost – POA dependent on the number of students.
